Automated Skills Testing Notice
INNIO US1 and its affiliated entities (collectively, “INNIO Group” “Company,” “we,” or “us”) may use automated skills testing software, which could be considered an automated decision-making technology (ADMT) under certain laws, in connection with our recruiting process. Job applicants with disabilities may access this Notice in an alternative format by contacting +1 888 268 3320.
We use Criteria Corp. Skills Tests, including Criteria Mechanical Reasoning Assessments (CMRAs) and Criteria Basic Skills Tests (CBSTs) (collectively “Skills Tests”), to administer practical, job-related exercises during the interview process, analyze your responses, and generate certain outputs based on your answers to support our decisions regarding your candidacy for the role for which you have applied.
The outputs generated by the Skills Tests include:
- Measurements of your mechanical aptitude and mechanical reasoning abilities, as well as workplace problem-solving skills like mathematical reasoning, verbal reasoning, abstract reasoning, critical reasoning, and accuracy.
- Raw test scores, percentile test scores, and indications of whether your score falls within, above, or below the suggested score range for the applicable role.
- Predictions about your job performance and job readiness, including descriptive performance labels.
These outputs will be used as a factor in making decisions about your continued candidacy. Other factors used to support decisions about your continued candidacy may include details in your résumé, cover letter, references, or other job application materials, work history (including job titles, duties, dates of employment, skills, and experience), prior training, certifications, licenses, language proficiencies, professional memberships, honors or awards, internships, and education records.
The Skills Tests are used for the limited purpose of helping us assess job-related skills and qualifications relevant to the role. We seek to use these assessments in a manner consistent with applicable law. The Skills Tests are not intended to be used for unlawful discrimination, and they are never the sole basis for an employment decision. Our recruiters and hiring managers, who are trained in interpreting Skills Test results, review those results together with your other application materials and make all decisions about your candidacy. If you require accommodation in connection with the Skills Tests, please contact careers@innio.com.
Depending on your jurisdiction of residence, you may have certain rights relating to our use of the Skills Tests. For example, if you are a California resident, you may have rights relating to our use of ADMTs, as described in our Privacy Notice. We will not retaliate against any individual for exercising rights available under applicable law.
The status of this privacy policy is September 2026.
If you have questions or concerns regarding this Notice, please contact legaldataprivacy@innio.com.
