Student Programs

Your studies, put to work.

As an intern at INNIO, you work on real projects in a global company and take on responsibility from day one. Start in Waukesha, Welland, Jenbach, or Budapest, and see where your energy can make a difference. Some internships even come with the chance to write your thesis with us.

  • Jenbach, Austria: Full-time internships of at least six months, with an option to extend, during your studies or as a graduate. Summer internships are possible, too. Pay follows the collective agreement. You can start at any time of the year, on a Monday or the first of the month, when our onboarding events take place. Depending on the role, we look for university students or graduates with authorization to work in Austria in the fields: Engineering, Service, Digital, HR, IT, Sourcing, Product Management, Communications, Compliance, Finance, and more.
  • Waukesha, Wisconsin: Engineering summer internship of 10 to 12 weeks, from late May or early June to late August. You receive hourly pay, and a housing stipend may be available. We look for rising sophomores and juniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and U.S. work authorization.
The way in
  • Budapest, Hungary: Internships at our Development and Operations Center, for students with active student status at a Hungarian university, ideally with six to 12 months of studies left. You can apply and start at any time, with two onboarding dates per month, and work 20 to 40 hours per week (students from outside the EU up to 30). Fluent English is a must, and students from outside the EU need a residence permit for studies. Fields: Finance, Order Management, Contract Management, Sales, Sourcing, Engineering, and Data & Digital.
  • Welland, Ontario: Co-op placements in Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and EHS, for students in recognized college or university co-op programs. Terms usually run four months, some longer.
